Your Internal Sat Nav

I got lost on the way to Cheltenham yesterday - Now Swindon to Cheltenham is easy so how did I manage to get lost????

Simple!

I trusted my sat nav instead of my instinct!

And that set me thinking - How often in life do we listen to the wrong voice?! We live in our heads - the voice of reason and switch off our hearts and our journey becomes frustrating, confusing, hard.......we end up feeling lost. The distance between the head and the heart may be small but for many - it's the longest journey of their lives and some never have the courage to take it or make it.

And to quote the words of Steve Linder - You know what? Your head has done an Amazing job of protecting your heart, but your heart is not fragile, it's time to switch off the head, give it a break, quieten it finally - it's time to let your heart speak now.

The journey of the head is searching for the next thing because this on wasn't quite what you thought and you feel empty still, lost.
The journey of the heart is allowing all those amazing emotions back in to guide you to the destination filling you up with fulfillment along the way.

The emotions. your heart is the gift of an internal sat nav - it's time to follow those directions :-)

This resonated with me as 3 years ago I was running a spiritual awareness centre, I met someone, and week by week I was doing more with him on his journey and less on my own journey. I was writing a newsletter every month for the centre and I wrote an article on this very subject. As time went on I gave up the centre, I enjoyed that part of my journey. Since living my life acording to someone elses rules I have become more of a recluse, depressed and out of shape physically and mentally. To read this today reminded me that I also need to follow my journey. I have stumbled across your website as I am finding information for my NVQ in care and social health. I thank you for your words of wisdom and inspiration. I hope you are still following your internal sat nav and enjoying your life.
