Level 2 Certificate in Medicines Management Training for Domiciliary Carers
This course in the safe handling of medicines has been specifically written to meet the needs of domiciliary sector and is accredited by NCFE – a government recognised awarding body, it also meets all of the requirements set out by CSCI and the Skills for Care knowledge set for medication
Medicines Management Training for Domiciliary Carers – Foundation Course
This course in the safe handling of medicines is delivered as a one day workshop covering all of the required areas of medicines managment in domiciliary care with a short assessment at the end.
Medicines Management for Domiciliary Carers – Introductory course
This is a half day workshop session in the safe handling of medicines which covers the basics - great as an introduction to medicines management for new staff or as a refresher course for exisiting staff members.
Medication Care Needs Assessment Training
This is a 1 day training course aimed at Senior Care Workers and Managers who are or will be involved in the care needs assessment process for providing support with medication.
Bespoke courses
Training courses in the safe handling of medicines can be tailored to meet your needs, if for example following an inspection visit a number of areas for improvement were mentioned. Bespoke sessions are based on £25 person for a half day session choosing 4 topics that you would like trained in more depth.
Training sessions are run by a qualified pharmacist, at your premises and cost the appropriate fee per person (minimum of 10 people per session) plus travel expenses of 28p per mile. Two x half day sessions can be run on the same day if this suits to do so.
Introduction to Medicines Training - Care Homes
A half day work shop designed to basics of medicines management in residential and nursing home care, suitable for staff at the induction stage.
Medicines management Training in Care homes - Foundation Course
A full day's work shop covering a little of everything you need to know about managing medicines within your care home. This course is assessed and accredited and all delegates will receive a certificate that at the end of the course
