Advanced Medication Training - Full Day Course

This Advanced Medication training course has been developed to meet the needs of Care Managers and Senior Care Workers both in County Councils, Social Services Departments and the Private Care Sector to educate and inform them of exactly what information needs to be gathered from a service user in order to ensure they receive the correct package of care when supporting with their medicines.

The Medication Care Needs Assessment is a key process within the Care Needs Assessment. Having the correct information to promote independence, support effectively and have appropriate documentation to record the right information is vital not only to meet CQC requirements for inspection AND to support the care worker in their role. It is therefore paramount that as a service commissioner or provider your assessors know what details to collect and record, what questions to ask and how and what support from other professionals they can access to help them.
