Course outcome
After completing the training course, delegates will have a thorough understanding of what addiction is, and when an addiction can be considered harmful. The delegates will also look at what are the side effects of different drugs, alcohol and more to see how to recognise the symptoms that someone might be addicted and how to best help them on their path to recovery. Our training reminds delegates to be empathetic and non-judgmental when dealing with addiction issues and gives them an understanding of treatment options to allow them to help others from a source of knowledge.
